Photo Shoot

Being the second child means you follow in the wake of the older sibling. At times, it'll mean smooth sailing or setting out in some rough seas. MJ has already benefited from being the second Bruff baby. Here's how.

Last December, Jackie had a bunch of photos taken for the family holiday card. Because Brenna Melanson took the photos specifically for a holiday card, we were able to enter a Holiday Card Drawing. Any person who used Brenna's photos in their holiday card were eligible to enter to win a $100 towards a future photo shoot.

That's right, Jackie Bruff's photo card won! So we were able to put $100 towards a newborn photo shoot for MJ.

Although the photo shoot was scheduled for 3 hours, I never thought we'd use all three hours. With "costume" changes, bribing Jackie with Muchkins, a crying infant, and MJ peeing all over one of the props because it was someone's idea to take a picture of her naked, the photo shoot turned out to be a success. Would I do it again, probably not. But it was well worth it.
